Meet the founder

Hi, I’m Swati.

Swati Makwana

Founder, RhythmHaus™ · Dance Fitness Instructor

Why I created RhythmHaus™

I created RhythmHaus™ to bring my love of music and movement into a space people could share. I wanted a class to offer more than steps: the chance to try something, express a little more of yourself and feel part of a community.

That idea shapes everything I build—from the regular rhythm of Beat Club to the creative themes of City Groove. My vision is to take that same feeling beyond the studio, into workshops, workplaces and celebrations where people can move and connect together.

Experience I bring to the floor

I bring dance-fitness teaching, choreography and session planning together. On the floor, that means clear counts, time to repeat a movement and options for different levels. My goal is for you to understand the steps, enjoy the music and leave ready to come back.

Training behind the teaching

Passion, with
a professional foundation.

Music is the spark. Training shapes the care I put into planning sessions, explaining movements and offering variations. These are the qualifications and professional registration behind my teaching.

A glimpse of our sessions

This is where
the connection happens.

Real moments from the studio: learning a sequence, finding the beat and sharing the enjoyment of moving together.

The heart of RhythmHaus™

A shared beat.
A personal journey.

RhythmHaus™ brings my passion for movement into a place we can share. Every class is a chance to enjoy the music, express yourself and make a connection through dance.

Clear before you book

Booking terms
& cancellation policies.

The policy depends on the experience you book. Read the relevant section below before payment.

01 Beat Club — cancellation & class passes
  • Beat Club passes are for one person and cannot be shared.
  • Single and first-trial bookings: cancel at least 12 hours before the scheduled start for a full refund. Cancellations less than 12 hours before class and no-shows are non-refundable.
  • Class passes: cancel at least 12 hours before the scheduled start to restore your credit. Late cancellations and no-shows use one credit. Cancelling a booking does not extend your pass expiry or refund the package.
  • If we cancel a class, single and trial bookings receive a full refund, or you may choose another available session. Pass credits are restored and pass validity is extended by 7 days.
  • If the initial programme does not go ahead, payments for it are refunded in full. If the programme ends permanently, unused pass credits are refunded at the price paid per credit.
  • Send cancellation requests through WhatsApp. The time your message is received determines whether the 12-hour cutoff is met.

Four-class passes are valid for 6 weeks from your first class. Activate within 30 days of purchase. All cancellation cutoffs refer to Singapore time.

02 City Groove — public classes & workshops
  • At least 24 hours before the scheduled start: cancel for a full refund. You may choose a transfer to another available City Groove session instead.
  • Less than 24 hours before, or a no-show: the booking is non-refundable. Missing part of the session does not qualify for a partial refund.
  • Give your place to someone else: a one-time attendee-name change is allowed at no extra charge. Send the replacement attendee’s name at least 2 hours before class; the place cannot be resold above its original price.
  • If we cancel, postpone or change the venue: you may choose a full refund or accept the replacement session. You do not have to accept a new date or location.
  • Session confirmation: if a session cannot go ahead, we will notify booked participants at least 24 hours before the scheduled start and refund their payments in full.
  • How to cancel: send a WhatsApp message with your name, session date and booking details. The time your message is received determines whether you meet the cutoff. All times refer to Singapore time.
  • Refund timing: eligible refunds are processed within 7 business days, using the original payment method where possible.

This policy applies to individual and bring-a-friend bookings for public City Groove sessions. For a partial cancellation of a discounted pair booking, the refund is based on the amount paid for the cancelled place. Private group and corporate bookings have separate terms agreed in the quotation.

03 Private groups, corporate programmes & events

Private group and corporate bookings have separate booking and cancellation terms, shared in the quotation before payment.

Your quotation will set out the agreed session or rehearsal scope, venue arrangements, payment schedule, cancellation charges and rescheduling options. Please confirm acceptance in writing before payment.

04 General booking terms
  • Booking confirmation: sending an enquiry does not reserve a place. A paid booking is confirmed after the session details are agreed and RhythmHaus™ sends confirmation.
  • Dates, fees and venues: all prices are in Singapore dollars. The final price, date, venue, duration and any applicable extra charges are shared before payment.
  • Pass use: Beat Club passes apply only to Beat Club. City Groove workshops, private sessions and event choreography are booked separately.
  • Taking part: check the session description for its style and pace. Wear suitable clothing and footwear, bring water and let your instructor know if you need a movement variation. Stop and tell the instructor if a movement causes pain or you feel unwell.
  • Respectful participation: help keep the class welcoming. Respect other participants, the instructor and the venue’s rules.
  • Photos and filming: permission will be requested before using identifiable photos or videos of participants in RhythmHaus™ promotions. Please also ask permission before filming others.
  • Which terms apply: the terms shared and accepted when you book apply to that booking. Any proposed changes affecting a confirmed booking will be communicated directly.

Contact Swati on WhatsApp or email if any booking term is unclear.
